Aurangabad, June 22: The International Day of Yoga was celebrated at Shamit School. A special Online Assembly was conducted to emphasize the importance of fitness and Yoga as a powerful tool to achieve it. Shamitians got a chance to know how Yoga embodies unity of mind and body.
All the students from Gr-1 to Gr-10 preformed Yoga Asanas. The Assembly was conducted live by the students on Facebook. Little Shamitians performed a mesmerizing classical dance which was inspired from the Yoga posses. The students also enacted an interesting interview with reel life actors and Yogis. Yoga has been included in curriculum so that students get into the habit of being fit.
