Buddha Pournima, observed on Vaishakh Poornima, marks the day of Lord Gautam Buddha's birth, enlightenment and Mahaparinirvana. To eliminate human suffering, the compassionate Tathagata gave the world awareness of the Noble Path — a sacred and elevated way of life guided by cause and effect. The foundation of his Dhamma is Sheel (Morality), Samadhi (Meditation) and Pradnya (Wisdom) — the very essence of his teachings — which forms the core theme of this special musical presentation.
