Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
After two years of relentless advocacy, the long-awaited Shivajinagar underpass is set to open on Saturday. The efforts of the Struggle Committee, Janseva Action Committee and residents have finally borne fruit.
The underpass, now completed, will ease travel for daily commuters, students, and workers, eliminating the need for lengthy detours. Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat, Dairy Development and OBC Welfare Minister Atul Save, and MP Sandipan Bhumre will preside over the inauguration. Residents who fought for the project, along with various action committees, have been invited to attend the event.
