The MIDC skill development centre at Shendra is witnessing an encouraging response from youth as nearly Rs 1.5 lakh crore in investments flow into the Shendra and Bidkin belts under Maharashtra industrial township limited (MITL).

Major firms JSW, Ather Energy, Godavari new energy, and Sago India have announced projects under the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC). Production is expected to begin in two to three years, generating nearly one lakh direct and indirect jobs. As previously reported in Lokmat Times, the centre offers 10 free courses, with most advanced training facilities including VR goggles.
