Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar
A speeding truck fatally struck the youth at Balapur square on Bypass Road around 9 am on Saturday.
The deceased has been identified as Umesh Patil (28). Umesh is a construction worker from Nimar, Madhya Pradesh, was riding his two-wheeler toward Jhalta Phata when the reckless truck hit him. Eyewitnesses saw the impact and immediately rushed him to the hospital, but doctors declared him dead on arrival. The MIDC Cidco Police are investigating the case.
