Aurangabad, Jan 24:

A Hyva driver assaulted a tanker driver who refused to give them diesel. The driver was assaulted with a wooden stick and iron rod.

The incident took place on January 20, at around 11.30 pm on the Harsul-Chowka road near the bridge of Samruddhi Highway. According to details, driver Sheikh Feroz Sheikh Dawood (23, Naigaon) was carrying the water tanker, Bharat Jadhav stopped him and demanded diesel for Hyva. Feroz showed the inability to do so. Hence Jadhav, his brother and four others assaulted Feroz and another tanker driver and threatened them. A case has been registered in the Harsul police station.
