Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

The maximum temperature reached 41.6°C for the second time in the first 24 days of April. The minimum temperature was recorded at 26.6°C.

During these 24 days, the temperature crossed 41°C on nine occasions, while on four days it remained at 40°C. On the remaining 11 days, the maximum temperature ranged between 35°C and 40°C.

The Meteorological Department has predicted a further rise in temperatures from the end of April until May 12, and early signs of the intensifying heat are already being felt.
