The Aurangabad district''s temperature dropped considerably at the beginning of November, decreasing day by day now. The residents are shivering with the cold for the past two weeks in November. The temperature rose by 6 degrees Celsius for the past two days, and the cold winds blowing from the North have lessened. Hence, the district has got some relief for the severe cold now. However, the temperature is likely to drop again this week, the experts opined.

The minimum temperature in the district is constantly dropping daily since November 1. The minimum temperature on November 11 was 12 degrees Celsius, which was the minimum temperature so far during this winter season. However, in November temperature increased from two days, and the minimum temperature recorded on November 14 was 19.2 degrees Celsius. The experts have opined that the district will chill from December 20 onwards, and there is a possibility of the minimum temperature to go down up to 5 degrees Celsius.

The residents thronged to the markets to purchase the woolen cloths due to the increased cold now. People during the Diwali shopping are also buying warm clothes for winter.
