Aurangabad, July 1:
A tenant and his accomplices with weapons attacked the landlord, who demanded rent for his shop near Bhajiwali Bai Chowk in the Osmanpura area on June 29. A case has been registered against the accused Feroz Khan, Babu Qureshi, Salman Qureshi (all residents of Osmanpura).
Police said complainant Utkarsh Anilkumar Sonkamble has given his shop to Feroz Khan on rent since 2014. On June 29, Utkarsh’s father went to the shop and demanded rent for the shop. However, Feroz Khan refused to pay the rent and abused him. The complainant tried to convince him, but he, along with Babu Qureshi and Salman Qureshi, attacked him with knives. Utkarsh sustained an injury on the left hand. The accused also beat his father Anilkumar with sticks. Utkarsh lodged a complaint at the Osmanpura police station.
