'Tohfatul Hadees' book released

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Taking a significant step towards instilling moral values, humanity and the message of peace in society, the book 'Tohfatul Hadees' by Qari Abdullah Khan Marconi was released at Maulana Azad Research Centre on Tuesday.

The event was jointly organised by Warisan-e-Harf-o-Qalam, Darul Qiraat Kalimiya, and Ilmul Quran wa Hadees Academy. Shaikh-ul-Hadees Hazrat Maulana Mohammad Nasimuddin Miftahi released the book. Principal Dr Maqdoom Farooqui presided over the function. Also present on the dais were Maulana Dr Sadrul Hasan Nadvi Madani, Maulana Dr Abdul Rashid, Architect Dr Arshad Ahmed and Major Syeda Firasat.

The highlight of the ceremony was the conferment of the 'Fazil-e-Dinyat' certificate by Darul Uloom Deoband upon 25 students who had completed their education in Quranic translation at the Ilmul Quran wa Hadees Academy. The distinguished guests presented the certificates to the students.

In his address, author Qari Abdullah Khan Marconi stated that, along with the Quran, knowledge of Hadees, the teachings of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), is essential to attain success in the hereafter, and it was with this purpose that he compiled this book. Abubakar Rahbar conducted the proceedings of the programme while Khwaja Shahab proposed a vote of thanks.
