Uddhav Sena will begin protests from Monday against the municipal corporation’s decision to shut weekly markets, calling it a blow to the livelihood of common vendors.

Under the slogan “Chala… Chala… Bazaarala Chala…!”, demonstrations will be held at three locations April 27 at 10 am at Shahanurwadi market, May 1 at 10 am at Chikalthana weekly market, and May 3 at 10 am at the Sunday market in Old Mondha, Gandhinagar. The agitation, led by Ambadas Danve, will see the presence of deputy leader Subhash Patil.
