Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The students of undergraduate and postgraduate courses will be held after Diwali festival and Assembly elections within jursidiction of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada Univeristy (Bamu).
It may be noted that the university was to conduct the undergraduate and postgraduate courses examinations from November 12.
However, following demands from the colleges and public representatives, the examinations were postponed due to the festival and ensuing elections. The students will take their examination only after November 23 when the result of the elections will be announced.

The colleges within university will have vacations that began on October 26 while for the university departments, the students and teaches will have vacation from 27 October to November 10.
Registrar said Dr Prashant Amrutkar said that the academic and administrative departments of the campus would remain closed from October 29 to November 6 for the festival of lights. He said that five holidays were cancelled for the Festival, the and preparations for NAAC evaluation during the last one year. There was a demand to give this five off during the festival time. The administration has appealed to all students, visitors, teachers and colleges to take note of it.
