Aurangabad, Oct 6

The vegetable market located along Yeola Road at Vaijapur in Aurangabad district which used to cause traffic congestion will be held at Zilla Parishad Boys High School ground from Wednesday onwards. Since the vegetable market place was very congested, vendors were compelled to sit on either side of this ever-busy road, leaving little or no space for motorists as well as pedestrians.

The demand for shifting this market to a suitable place was long overdue. Both the tehsil administration and municipal authorities, considering this perennial traffic problem, finally decided to shift this market to the Zilla Parishad Boys High School ground.

The municipal authorities have also warned that action will be taken against those vegetable vendors who do not shift to the new place or use another location to run their business thereby causing traffic problems. Following the orders, most of vegetable vendors have shifted to the new market place.
