Vehicle-owners face inconvenience due to pothole filling material on Jalna Road

Aurangabad, July 19:

The World Bank Project has started filling up the potholes on Aurangabad-Jalna National Highway from Sunday morning, but the sharp-edged rubbles used to fill them are posing severe inconvenience to the vehicle owners. It may be noted that the news highlighting the series of accidents on the highway was published recently.

The MLA Haribhau Bagade, referring to news, has demanded to fill up the potholes on priority. He threatened of stopping the toll collection if prompt action is not taken. Meanwhile, the World Bank Project officers started filling the potholes, but the quantity of tar spread on the rubbles is less. As a result, the vehicle-owners complained of facing inconvenience while passing through the road.

According to the Karmad residents, many deep size potholes are formed every year during the monsoon on road in front of Karmad Bus Stop and Dargah. However, the department concern has not paid attention to them. The office concerned should take appropriate measures on a permanent basis, they demanded.
