Virtual Diwali celebration at Podar Jumbo Kids, Waluj

Online Diwali Mela ‘Let’s spread the light of happiness’ was organised at Podar Jumbo Kids Waluj. Children were urged to stay away from firecrackers and not burst them. This year, as the Diwali is amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, children were made aware of all safety measures like washing hands, wearing masks and ensuring physical distancing if they go out to meet their relatives and friends. Children and parents engaged in lots of fun activities and discussions virtually to celebrate Diwali by making paper diya, watching a story through a puppet show, making kandil lantern, paper phataka. Headmistress Riya Kapoor and teachers made the event successful.
