Yashraj Mukhate Explains Technical Processes of Modern Music

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A special guidance session by renowned music producer Yashraj Mukhate on the topic “Music Production and Emerging Trends in the Industry” was organized on Saturday at the V. Shantaram Theatre by the School of Film Arts, Mahatma Gandhi Mission University.

The event was attended by Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Anuradha Kadam, former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sudhir Gawhane, Dr. V. L. Dharurkar, Dean Dr. Rekha Shelke, Head of Department Dr. Shiv Kadam, and other dignitaries.

The session was coordinated by singer and music composer Sahil Kulkarni. During the session, Mukhate provided in-depth insights into the technical processes of modern music production, marketing strategies on digital platforms, and the evolving role of artists in a rapidly changing media landscape. Speaking about artificial intelligence, he noted that while AI may reduce some jobs in the creative sector, the need for creative talent will always remain.

Creative Experiment

Students of the School of Film Arts actively participated by asking questions, making the session interactive and informative. A highlight of the event was when Mukhate composed music on the spot based on a dialogue given by Head of Department Dr. Shiv Kadam.
