A 35-year-old man was injured after being attacked with a knife by three persons over an old dispute in the government medical college and hospital(GMCH) staff quarters area.

The incident took place around 12.30 am on April 16. The victim has been identified as Rocky Pagare (35). The accused are Tanishq Athawale (19), Deva Lahot (19), and Sumit Lahot (19), all residents of the GMCH staff quarters. According to police, tensions had been brewing between the accused and Pagare for the past few days. The trio allegedly confronted him and attacked him with a knife, injuring him on the face. They also reportedly threatened to kill him and his son if he continued to oppose them. A case has been registered against Athawale and the Lahot brothers at the Begumpura police station.
