National-Level Startup Competition ‘Stractical 2025’ Held Successfully at Sarvajanik University

Surat (Gujarat) [India], March 29: S. R. Luthra Institute of Management (SRLIM), a constituent institute of Sarvajanik University governed by Sarvajanik Education Society successfully conducted the 10th consecutive Stractical 2025, the national-level startup competition where students, entrepreneurs, and industry experts converged to exchange and assess innovative business plans. The event took place at the Sarvajanik University Seminar Hall in Surat, and this was the 10th season of this motivational initiative.

The competition began at 10:30 AM, with Dr. Jagdish Sakhiya, Founder & Chief Dermatologist at Sakhiya Skin Clinic, giving the welcome address. Other dignitaries present were Mr. Keyur Modi, Founder & CEO at Surties Media Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Kiran Pandya, SU Provost shared words of wisdom and CA Bharat Shah, Chairman, Sarvajanik Education Society delivered the Presidential Address. The guest were welcomed by Dr. Jimmy M. Kapadia, the Institute director.

Event Highlights

Stractical 2025 offered a great platform for young entrepreneurs to pitch their startup concepts to a seasoned panel of judges. The event involved motivational speeches by guest speakers, mentorship sessions, and final project presentations by the shortlisted teams. The judges included renowned professionals like Mr. Karnav Shah, Director at JivanamAsteya.org, and Mr. Kashyap Desai, Founder & CEO of Desai Advertising.

15 teams from differ institutes participated from different disciplines in round 1 held on 1st March and out of which only five finalists were selected who pitched their ideas, getting useful inputs from industry experts. The mentors were Dr. Vijay Kumbhani, Owner, Kavita MineChem Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Chetan Patel, CEO, Chetanpatel.world, Mr. Bihag Trivedi, Founder & CEO, KB's Academy, Mr. Rachit Khator, Founder & CEO, Stackby.com and Mr. Abhinav Sharma, Co-Founder, Hisabkitab.

Commemorating Entrepreneurial Talent

The event culminated with an award function, honoring the best business ideas and efforts, winners of Stractical 2025 were:

  • Winner: Monishka Chawla from S. R. Luthra Institute of Management
  • Runner-up: Anshu Mishra and Kumkum from Vanita Vishram Women’s University

More than 150 students witnessed the final round. Through this event, students learned a lot, gained expert opinions, and enhanced their business plans. Stractical has, over the years, been at the forefront of encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship, pushing young minds to bring their ideas to life as successful enterprises.
