Paytm has launched an array of utility merchandise for businesses including calculators, power banks, clocks, pen stands and radio which merchants can use in their shop for daily requirements, the company said in a statement.

"Small and medium businesses (SMBs) owners and shopkeeper now have the convenience of having the best of technology available in the language of their choice to handle day to day operations," said Sajal Bhatnagar, Vice President at Paytm.

QR codes can now be personalized by merchants with their names, logos and pictures to strengthen association with digital payments.

Merchants can avail the Paytm QR merchandise of their choice from Paytm for Business app and get doorstep delivery.

"Our QR code offering along with the merchandise options answer very specific needs in the merchant community. The objective is to have a product for every single merchant type across the country," Bhatnagar added.

Paytm also introduced an innovative product Soundbox, which is a voice-enabled IOT device which alerts the merchant of payments credited in the language of their choice.

Paytm merchandise complements the company's All-in-One QR offering, which enables the merchants to accept unlimited payments through Paytm Wallet, Rupay Cards and all UPI-based payment apps directly into their bank account at zero per cent fee.

The digital wallet has also introduced a new service 'Paytm Business Khata' that complements the Paytm All-in-One QR, empowering merchant partners to maintain digital ledgers of all their customer transactions including cash and credit.

With 'Paytm Business Khata', merchants can set payment due date for credit transactions and send automated reminders.

According to the company, the customers will receive a notification with their billing history, and will be able to make payments through the same link.
