The win propels PBKS to fifth place in the points table with a record of 2 wins and 2 losses. The Titans, meanwhile, slip to sixth place. Kolkata Knight Riders remain atop the standings, followed by the Rajasthan Royals.
Shubman Gill's unbeaten 89 and Sai Sudharshan's 33 propelled them into the top five of the IPL 2024 Most Runs scorers list, sitting at fourth and fifth, respectively. In the bowling department, Gujarat Titans' Mohit Sharma moved up to second place after claiming Sikandar Raza's wicket, pushing current IPL pace leader Mayank Yadav to third.

GT vs PBKS Highlights
Punjab Kings (PBKS) defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) by three wickets in an IPL 2024 match on Thursday in Ahmedabad. Chasing 200 runs, PBKS looked down and out at 111-5 in the 13th over. However, a sensational knock by Shashank Singh (61 not out off 29 balls) helped them secure victory with one ball to spare.
Earlier, GT captain Shubman Gill top-scored with an unbeaten 89 runs off 48 balls (6 fours, 4 sixes) to guide his team to a competitive 199-4 in their 20 overs. Wriddhiman Saha (11) and Kane Williamson (26) provided early support to Gill, but Harpreet Brar and Kagiso Rabada picked up key wickets to restrict GT's scoring opportunities. Rahul Tewatia's late cameo of 23 runs off just eight balls provided a final flourish to their innings.
PBKS' chase started poorly as they lost five wickets for 111 runs. But Shashank Singh, who smashed a 25-ball fifty, and Ashutosh Sharma (31 off 17 balls) stitched together a crucial partnership that revived their hopes. Singh continued his onslaught, carrying his team over the finish line with one ball remaining.
