A viral video circulating on social media shows multiple fans involved in a physical fight in the stands. One female spectator was seen hitting another individual, with punches and slaps exchanged in a chaotic scene that stunned nearby viewers. The reason for the confrontation remains unclear. However, a police official quickly reached the spot to intervene and restore order. The video has drawn widespread attention online. One user commented, "What happened? Why is there a fight?" Another wrote, "Just a normal day in Delhi," while one more added, "Ye pkka rohit sharma ki fan hogi."

Despite the off-field drama, the match continued without interruption. Mumbai Indians defeated Delhi Capitals by 12 runs in what was the home side’s first loss of the season. Karun Nair played a standout knock of 89 runs off 40 balls for Delhi but lacked support from the other batters. Karn Sharma who came in as Mumbai’s Impact Player took three wickets for 36 runs and was named Player of the Match.
Earlier Delhi Capitals captain Axar Patel had won the toss and opted to bowl. Mumbai posted 205 for five in their innings.
Delhi will next face Rajasthan Royals at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday April 16. Mumbai Indians are scheduled to take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium on Thursday April 17. Both matches will start at 7.30 pm IST.
