IPL 2026, PBKS vs DC Today Match: An 18-year-old player from Delhi Capitals, Sahil Parakh, was taken to hospital after suffering a facial injury during a practice session ahead of their Indian Premier League 2026 clash against Punjab Kings. The incident occurred on Friday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, when Parakh was struck by a ball during training. He appeared to be in significant pain and was bleeding on the field. An ambulance was later called, and the youngster was taken to a hospital in Delhi for further evaluation and treatment.

According to reports, Parakh has undergone scans, though the franchise has not issued an official update on his condition.

Parakh, a left-handed opening batter who also bowls part-time leg-spin, was signed by Delhi Capitals for Rs 30 lakh in the auction. He has represented Maharashtra in domestic cricket and has impressed in age-group competitions.

Delhi Capitals, led by Axar Patel, are set to face table-toppers Punjab Kings on Saturday in a crucial fixture as they look to improve their position in the standings.
