IPL Points Table 2026: Lucknow Super Giants kept their slim playoff hopes alive after defeating Royal Challengers Bengaluru by nine runs in a rain-affected Indian Premier League 2026 clash at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow on Thursday, May 7, 2026. The victory helped LSG register only their third win of the season, while RCB missed the chance to move to the top of the points table.

After the result, Sunrisers Hyderabad continued to lead the IPL 2026 standings with 14 points from 11 matches. Punjab Kings remained second with 13 points from 10 matches.

RCB fought hard in the chase through half-centuries from Rajat Patidar and late fireworks from Tim David, but fell short while chasing a revised DLS target of 213.
