IPL 2026, DC vs RR Today Match: Delhi Capitals batter David Miller has been left out of the playing XI for match  43 of the Indian Premier League 2026 against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Friday due to team combination changes. DC captain Axar Patel confirmed at the toss that the team made three changes to the lineup. Mitchell Starc returned to the XI, replacing Dushmantha Chameera, while Pathum Nissanka came in for injured opener Sahil Parakh.

With four overseas players already included in the XI, the team management had to leave out Miller to maintain the overseas combination balance.

“Starc is playing and unfortunately Chameera isn’t playing. Sahil Parikh got injured and Pathum is playing in his place, that’ll be four overseas players which means David Miller sits out,” Axar said at the toss.

Miller has been a consistent performer for Delhi this season, scoring 123 runs in seven innings at an average of 41 and a strike rate of over 146. He has played all matches so far and contributed as a finisher in the middle order.

Delhi Capitals opted for a revised combination for this match as they look to improve their position on the points table.
