According to information, MS Dhoni was injured during a practice session before the start of the IPL season 2026. He has been experiencing difficulty running due to muscle pain. Although he continues to practise in the nets, he has not featured in matches so far as running between the wickets remains a challenge. The team management and batting coach, Mike Hussey, has made it clear that Dhoni will not be risked until he is fully fit.
