The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the Class 12 board examination results for 2026, with an overall pass percentage of 85.20%. The results show a decline of 3.19 percentage points compared to the previous year. Girls once again outperformed boys in the examinations, recording a pass percentage higher by 6.73 percentage points. Among all CBSE regions, Trivandrum emerged as the best-performing region with a pass percentage of 95.62%, while Prayagraj registered the lowest at 72.43%. The Class 12 board examinations were conducted between February 17 and April 10, 2026, after which answer sheet evaluation and result preparation were completed by the board authorities.

CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj officially confirmed the declaration of the Class 12 results. More than 85% of students successfully cleared the board examinations this year, though the overall success rate dipped by over three percentage points compared to 2025. To avoid inconvenience due to heavy traffic on result day, CBSE has provided students with multiple result-access platforms, including official websites, DigiLocker, the UMANG mobile application, SMS services, and IVRS facilities. Students are advised to keep their roll number, school number, and admit card ID ready to access their digital scorecards smoothly across different platforms.
