The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date for the second CBSE Class 10th board exams. The written examination for Secondary School will begin on May 15, 2026 and conclude on May 21, 2026. The date sheet issued on Thursday, April 23, has complete schedules for core, language, elective and skill exam papers for Class 10 candidates appearing in the second examination cycle.
The class 10 board exams will begin with the Mathematics paper (Standard) and the Mathematics (Basic). The exam paper will start at 10.30 am to 1.30 pm, some papers' timings are until 12.30. English Communicative and English Language and Literature will take place on May 16, followed by Science on May 18. Social Science will be held on May 21.

The two-board exam system was introduced last year by the CBSE board and is being implemented from this year, which will give a chance for students to increase their marks or grades.
