CBSE Class 10 Result 2026 Out: How to Check Your Scores on the UMANG App and DigiLocker

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that Class 10 results are now available on the UMANG App, providing students with an easy digital access point. The platform confirmed the update through its official X (formerly Twitter) account, stating, “The wait is over! CBSE Class-X results have been declared and are now available to view on the UMANG app.” UMANG, a unified digital platform, enables users to access multiple government services in one place. Earlier, DigiLocker had advised students to prepare their accounts in advance to avoid last-minute delays while checking their Class 10 results online.

The CBSE has officially released the Class 10 Result 2026 ahead of its traditional May schedule, offering early clarity to more than 25 lakh students nationwide. The results can be accessed through official portals such as cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Additionally, students can check their scores through DigiLocker and the UMANG App, both of which have already activated result access to handle heavy user traffic efficiently. DigiLocker had earlier urged students to set up their accounts beforehand to ensure seamless access to digital marksheets and certificates once the results were declared.

Students who have linked their APAAR ID with CBSE can conveniently access their academic documents under the ‘Issued Documents’ section on DigiLocker. Those without a linked ID can still check their results using standard login details on the official websites or apps. To avoid inconvenience, students are advised to keep essential credentials such as roll number, date of birth, school number, and admit card ID ready. Apart from digital platforms, CBSE has also enabled SMS-based result services, ensuring that students across different regions, including those with limited internet connectivity, can access their scores without difficulty.

This year, a total of 25,08,319 students appeared for the Class 10 examinations conducted by CBSE. The candidates included 14,08,546 boys and 10,99,773 girls, covering 83 subjects across 8,075 examination centres nationwide. The exams were held between February 17 and March 11 in a single shift that commenced at 10:30 am each day. The large-scale examination process was conducted smoothly, maintaining standard protocols and ensuring uniformity across all centres, reflecting the board’s continued focus on efficiency and organisation.

CBSE implemented a revised academic structure this year, which helped complete the evaluation process earlier than usual. This updated framework is part of a broader strategy to introduce greater flexibility in the examination system. As part of this plan, the board has scheduled a second phase of examinations from May 15 to June 1, 2026. This allows students to reappear in up to three subjects to improve their performance, offering them a valuable opportunity to enhance their scores within the same academic year.
