Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has joined the list of celebrities demanding justice for deceased African American George Floyd who died after a policeman knelt on his neck.  doing the rounds on social media shows the policeman kneeling on the man’s neck for more than 5 minutes, while he lay handcuffed and crying out in pain about being unable to breathe. 

The video that was recorded by bystanders sparked massive street protests in the state of Minneapolis after Floyd was declared dead at a hospital. Sharing a viral picture that has been doing the rounds on Instagram, Kareena lent her support to the cause and captioned the picture with a broken heart emoticon and demanded “#JusticeForGeorgeFloyd.”  The likes of including LeBron James, Cardi B, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Viola Davis, John Boyega, Demi Lovato, Naiomi Cambel and several others have taken to social media to react to Floyd's death.
