Jalebi actress Rhea Chakraborty who was supposed to to appear before the Enforcement Directorate today, for a money laundering probe related to late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case has requested to postpone the recording of her statement. “Rhea Chakraborty has requested that the recording of her statement be postponed till SC Hearing,” shared advocate Satish Manshinde, who is representing Rhea in the matter.

It is to be noted that ED had summoned the actress for questioning on August 7 in a money laundering probe stemming from a complaint lodged by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's father KK Singh with the Patna Police in connection with his death. The Enforcement Directorate had summoned Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea to record her statement with regards to two major property investments made by her in Mumbai. Yesterday, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) took over the probe of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.  The CBI registered an FIR  based on the one registered by Bihar police in Patna and names Rhea Chakraborty, her parents, and brother Showik have been named the accused
