A major power outage was reported in Mumbai on Monday with residents taking to Twitter to report blackout across financial capital, Navi Mumbai and Thane. Multiple tripping of lines and transformer (Kalwa-Padghe and Khargar ICTs) supplying power to Mumbai system was reported with 360 MW supply in the city and suburbs being affected. Amidst the major power cut in the city, megastar Amitab Bachchan shared a tweet asking everyone to stay calm. 

Amitabh Bachchan turned 78 on Sunday, Amitabh, who has been keeping busy with the hectic shoot of quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati, was spotted outside his residence on Sunday. He was in a track suit with a mask and preferred to keep a low profile. On the professional front, Big B is all set to team up with South superstar Prabhas and Deepika Padukone for his next. Apart from that, he has 'Brahmastra', 'Chehre' and 'Jhund' in his kitty.
