The upcoming World Laughter Day special episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show is already creating massive excitement among viewers as comedians and content creators Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, are set to reunite on screen after months of controversy. The much-awaited episode will premiere on Netflix on May 2, 2026, at 8 PM. This marks the duo’s first public appearance together since the widely discussed India’s Got Latent controversy, during which Samay had openly claimed that Ranveer had negatively affected his mental health. Their unexpected reunion has sparked intense curiosity online, with fans eager to witness their chemistry and comic timing once again.

The makers recently released a promotional video from the special episode, offering audiences a glimpse into the entertaining chaos awaiting them. The promo begins with Samay Raina enthusiastically welcoming the audience while mentioning that he had not been informed about the identity of the second guest appearing alongside him. Moments later, Ranveer Allahbadia walks onto the stage, leaving Samay visibly stunned as he reacts with a dramatic “No Bro” expression. The moment has quickly gone viral on social media platforms, with viewers praising the comic timing and awkward humour. Archana Puran Singh reportedly described the episode as one of the funniest editions of the show so far.

Speaking about the special celebration episode, host Kapil Sharma shared that the overwhelming love from audiences constantly motivates the team to deliver fresh and entertaining content. He stated that the World Laughter Day episode was specially planned in collaboration with Netflix to spread joy, humour and positivity among viewers. Kapil also mentioned that Samay and Ranveer would bring their own unique styles to the celebration, making the episode more engaging and energetic. The special edition promises a blend of classic Kapil Sharma humour with modern internet comedy culture, creating a refreshing entertainment experience designed purely to make audiences laugh and enjoy the occasion together.

As the fun-filled banter escalates during the episode, the stage reportedly transforms into a hilarious TGIKS-style news debate segment featuring Sunil Grover in a central role. Adding to the madness, Krushna Abhishek appears as Mona while Kiku Sharda joins in as Sona, ensuring nonstop laughter and comic confusion till the very end. Their performances are expected to add signature TGIKS-style chaos and spontaneity to the episode. The show’s latest season had recently concluded with a finale featuring veteran filmmaker David Dhawan and his son Varun Dhawan. That finale episode also received praise for energetic performances by Sunil Grover, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, ending the season on a highly entertaining note.
