Aishwarya Rai Bachchan penned a heartfelt note remembering her ‘Jazbaa’ co-star Irrfan Khan. In a Instagram story the former beauty queen wrote, “Heartbreaking news… so saddened to hear about the demise of my dear friend Irrfan… the brightest, most genuine, humble, kind and eventually bravest soul… May he Rest in Peace. God Bless Much love and strength to Sutapa, Babil, Ayan and his loved ones at this very difficult time,”

The entire Bollywood industry is in a state of shock and tributes have been pouring in for the acclaimed actor. The 53-year old was  admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital on Tuesday. Irrfan had undergone treatment abroad for several months. The veteran star was  laid to rest in Mumbai's Versova Kabristan today at 3pm in the presence of family and friends. Irrfan's close friend and director Vishal Bhardwaj was also spotted at the funeral.
