Ajay Devgn's official look as Air Force Officer Vijay Karnik from Bhuj: The Pride of India has been offically released by the makers on Twitter. This is the first time the Zakhm actor will be seen playing an Air Force Officer on screen. The film which revolves around the 1971 Indo-Pak War is slated to release on 14th August as announced by the director. Taking to his Twitter, director Abhishek Dudhaiya wrote, It’s a privilege to present @ajaydevgn sir’s first look as Sq. Ld. Vijay Karnik from my upcoming directorial film #BhujThePrideOfIndia . #14Aug2020.

For those unaware, Karnik was in charge of the Bhuj airbase during the 1970 Indo-Pak War which remained operational despite facing heavy bombing from Pakistan. He was accompained by 50 airforce and 60 defence security brigade at the airbase. The film also stars, Sanjay Dutt Sonakshi Sinha, Ihana Dhillion, Ammy Virk, and South actor Pranitha Subash.
