Singer Akasa Singh is looking forward to hosting a digital dating show, and says she is excited to witness strangers going on virtual dates.

She will be hosting "MTV Beats Pyaar Karo Na", where people will go on virtual dates via video call. The show includes segments like love tasks and a final proposal.

"The show blends technology with video dating like never before. I am really excited to see some chemistry blossom between two strangers and have a virtual date being set up. It's amazing to know how everyone is trying to innovate amidst such challenging situations and tapping on sentiments that all of us can relate to," Akasa said.

The show will go on air on June 7 on MTV Beats. The channel is also coming out with two more news shows "Baba Ki Chowki: Lockdown Edition" and "MTV BEATS Lockdown House Party".

"Baba Ki Chowki: Lockdown Edition" will have comedian Dr. Sanket Bhosale to pump up the humour as he connects with stars virtually.

He said: "The lockdown edition will have celebrity guests as well as digital stars along with some interesting segments to spruce up the fun."

For "Lockdown House Party", DJ Chetas will be adding a musical twist to the lockdown plans.

"Music is a great leveler and more so during such times when the world around is seeming so overwhelming. The show will offer a breather to the audience. I hope people can relive the party experience and take a break from the monotony," said the deejay.
