Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is a perfectionist who always wants the lead cast of his films to get into the skin of their character. Post the director's decision to not go ahead with his most abmitious project 'Inshallah'starring Salman and Alia he announced his next venture.

The star director's second announcement which again features the 'Highway' actress is also been in the news ever since the project came into limelight. The film which is titled Gangubai Kathiawadi will require Alia to undergo Kathiawadi diction classes.According to reports, Sanjay is search of a good tutor who can help her lead actress perfect the dialect as the language is very rarely spoken. The film marks the duo's first ever collaboration and Alia will be seen in the titular role. 

If sources are to be believed then Alia will be seen essaying the role of powerful female figure who is a fierce madam of Kamathipura. Alia who has rose to prominence with some meaningful cinema in recent times, has a series of films lined up for release. Some of them include Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra and SS Rajamouli's RRR.
