One of the iconic films of Amitabh Bachchan's filmy career the 1973 released Zanjeer completes 47 years today. On the special occasion, Amitabh Bachchan has shared a throwback poster of the action drama on social media.  The poster features Big B along with late veteran actor Pran who was also an integral part of the film along with Jaya Bachchan. He captioned the post, "T 3527 - 47 years of ZANJEER. Helmed by Prakash Mehra, the film capitulated Bachchan into the limelight and turned him into a overnight superstar.

On the work front, the actor will next feature in 'Chehre' helmed by Rumi Jaffery, 'Gulabo Sitabo' by Shoojit Sircar, 'Jhund' directed by Nagraj Manjule and 'Brahmastra' by Ayan Mukerji. Currently, Sr Bachchan is currently spending quality time with his family in Mumbai amid the lockdown wherein he has been part of many govt initiatives in spreading awareness about the deadly COVID-19.
