Amitabh Bachchan was recently honoured with the 2021 FIAF Award by Martin Scorsese & Christopher Nolan. The Black star  penned a lovely note on being conferred with the honour for his sustained efforts towards the advocacy of preservation of India’s film heritage. The megastar was also praised by Scorsese and Nolas as they conferred the award.Sharing his thoughts over it, Big B penned a note. He thanked Martin Scorsese & Christopher Nolan for bestowing the honour on him. Not just this, he expressed that he will continue working towards preserving the Indian film heritage nationwide. The megastar shared a photo holding the award and was all smiles. In the photo, we can see Big B wearing a black outfit to the event where he was honoured with the 2021 FIAF Award.

 

As soon as Big B shared the photo, fans started wishing him in the comments. He wrote, "I am deeply honoured to have been conferred with the 2021 FIAF Award. Thank you to FIAF and to Martin Scorsese and Christopher Nolan for bestowing the award on me in the ceremony today. Our commitment to the cause of saving India’s film heritage is unshakeable and Film Heritage Foundation will continue its efforts to build a nationwide movement to save our films. @FHF_ Official @fiaf1938 @shividungarpur." Maniesh Paul, Farah Khan Kunder and many other celebs also wished Big B on getting this honour. On the work front, the superstar will next be seen in Chehre with Emraan Hashmi, Annu Kapoor, Rhea Chakraborty and others. The film is helmed by Rumi Jafri and produced by Anand Pandit. The film is releasing in theatres on April 9, 2021. Besides this, Big B will be seen in MayDay with Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh, Brahmastra with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Jhund as well.
