Kangana Ranaut has once again hit the headlines with some explosive statements targetting some of industry's bigwigs. In a series of tweets, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap lashed out at her and stated that he used to be a very good friend of the actress but now he does not know this ‘new Kangana.’ Sharing an old interview of Kangana where she is seen addressing the controversies revolving around her film, Manikarnika, Anurag wrote, “Intoxication of success and vigour destroys everyone equally, whether it is insider or outsider.‘Learn from me, be like me’, I have never heard this from her before 2015. And since then, it has come to the point that those who are not with her are all mean and sycophantic.
Anurag stated that Kangana sits in the edit with the directors and cuts the roles of all her co-stars and went on to say that her old directors, who used to once admire her, now avoid working with her. “She is talking nonsense. All will end here.And since I adored her a lot, I am not able to tolerate this Kangana. Others may speak or remain silent but I will say that enough If her family members and close friends cannot see what she’s doing, then the reality is that she has no one of her own in today’s time,” he added. On Monday, the director made headlines when he asked people on social media what they were being “distracted“ from with Bollywood topics taking up the top trends on social media. Changing the discourse on the trending subjects, Anurag asked questions on the current looming threats of COVID-19, the status of India's border disputes, the economy and the impending elections.
