Cricketer Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have pledged monetary support for the coronavirus crisis. The news was announced by the cricketer on his social media. A number of sports personalities have come forward with contributions to fight the disease. However, the celeb couple didn’t disclose the amount they have contributed. 

Anushka and Virat had earlier shared a video message for their fans, urging them to stay indoors amid the coronavirus pandemic. The couple’s message comes a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a ‘Janta curfew’ to curb the virus’ spread. Many big names from the entrtainment  industry have pledged in their support to help the country in its fight against the coronavirus. Among them is actor Akshay Kumar, Chiranjeevi, Rajnikanth, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan.
