Arjun Kapoor to romance Rakul Preet in a cross border family drama

In what can be termed as fresh pairing, Panipat actor Arjun Kapoor and the very talented Rakul Preet Singh will be seen together in a family drama to be directed by Kaashvie Nair.

In what can be termed as fresh pairing, Panipat actor Arjun Kapoor and the very talented Rakul Preet Singh will be seen together in a family drama to be directed by Kaashvie Nair. The film which is bankrolled by Nikhhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar will be shot in Punjab and Los Angeles. Speaking about the film, the Kal Ho Na Ho director says, "It is a coming-of-age, cross-border love story, beautifully written by Anuja Chauhan, Amitosh Nagpal and Kaashvie.

The yet untitled film will be helmed by debutant Kaashve Nair, who has earlier assisted Nikhil in films like 'Patiala House' and 'D - Day.' Further talking about the film, Arjun explains,  “I have grown up in a joint family so I understood that it’s the biggest pillar of love, strength and support. That’s the essence of our film, which has its heart in the right place. I’m having a blast even during the prep.”

The two lead actors of the film have already started their prep for the film. On the professional front, Arjun will be next seen in Ashutosh Gowariker's epic war drama 'Panipat.' Meanwhile, Rakul will be seen in 'Marjaavaan' which also stars Riteish Deshmukh, Sidharth Malhotra, and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.
