Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a few days ago announced a series of initiatives for the COVID-19 relief.  Now appreciating his efforts Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tweeted words of appreciation for the superstar, lauding his contribution for the nation in this hour of crisis. The CM tweeted: "Thank you Shah Rukh ji for you kind words. Your generous contribution will touch many lives in this difficult hour. @iamsrk." 

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray also expressed his gratitude towards the King of Bollywood for his noble gesture towards fighting the coronavirus pandemic in the country. Aditya Thackeray also Shah Rukh Khan on his micro-blogging site to which the actor responded, “We don’t ever have to thank each other during times like these. We r a family. Grateful you are working so hard for Maharashtra and whenever you get alone time...do write a poem or two. Love to you.”

On Thursday evening, Shah Rukh Khan had tweeted: "In these times it's imp to make everyone around u working tirelessly for u.. not related to u.. perhaps even unknown to u... to feel they are not alone and by themselves. Let's just make sure we all do our little bit to look after each other. India and all Indians are One Family." For the unversed Shah Rukh who lives in Mumbai originally hails from Delhi.
