Amidst the coronavirus pandemic which is plaguing the country Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation for the fifth time. In his speech Modi announced a financial package of Rs 20 lakh crore to revive the Indian economy. The PM mentioned that this would benefit the workers, hawkers, street vendors, farmers, the business class, etc, adding that further details would be announced by the Finance Minister on Wednesday. Apart from this, PM Modi also laid down 'Aatma Nirbhar Bharat' (Self-Reliant India) as the country's plan forward and urged coined the 'Vocal for local' campaign. 

PM Modi stated that the country was able to step up its efforts because it turned the crisis into an opportunity. The Prime Minister also reflected upon India's past endeavours like when the country got free of open defecation, Polio and TB, it impacted the entire globe and that is why every country looks up to India at this moment. He went to add steps to strengthen the local businesses will be taken.Soon, Bollywood celebs like Shahid Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Ashoke Pandit, Kamal Haasan Paresh Rawal and Anurag Kashyap welcomed the idea of self-reliant India.
