Bollywood reacts to Kunal Kamra - Arnab Goswami issue
Bollywood celebs Anubhav Sinha, Swara Bhaskar, Richa Chadha and Hansal Mehta have broken their silence on the Kunal Kamra and Arnab Goswami controversy. After four airlines banned Kamra for his behaviour the issue has now become a hot topic among many. Speaking about the same, Ra-One director Anubhav Sinha said, Kunal Kamra's act was ridiculous under ordinary circumstances but times are different he wrote on his Twitter. Sharing the news of Kamra’s suspension by Indigo, Swara Bhasker tweeted, “Kunal Kamra how will you survive this devastating blow?” Meanwhile, in a series of tweets Hansal Mehta also gave his views wherein he said he has mixed feelings about the entire incident.
For the unversed, in a video clip posted by Kunal Kamra on Twitter, the comedian is seen asking Arnab if he is a coward or a journalist. While Arnab can be seen seated on the plane and watching something on his laptop with his earphones plugged in, Kamra was seen roasting Arnab on IndiGo's Mumbai Lucknow flight. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has also come out in support of Kunal Kamra after the entire incident. Check out the Twitter reactions of Bollywood celebs here...

I did not like the way @kunalkamra88 heckled Arnab on a flight. I felt it was unnecessary and uncool coming from someone who usually criticizes with such sharp wit. But seeing the even more uncool response by airlines (with govt blessings) to his behavior I have mixed feelings...

Genuinely asking in light of this... a flight was held up and an elected representative said “first class is my right”.

Was she put on any no-fly list for causing a delay? We’re co-passengers who asked her persistent questions banned ? Does ANYONE have more info? https://t.co/kbEB2XgzEapic.twitter.com/uXhbBZXzsC
Of course what Kunal did is ridiculous under ordinary circumstances. But these are no ordinary times. These are times when a union minister instructs all airlines to ban a stand up comedian because he insulted Goebbels clan. So stop trying to sound ‘proper’ please.
