Actress Vaani Kapoor has landed in trouble after a Mumbai resident allegedly filed a complaint for huriting religious sentiments. According to reports, a complaint has been filed with the NM Joshi Marg police station for wearing a deep neck top with Lord Ram's name printed on it. The picture was posted by the actress on social media but after receiving flak from fans and netizens, it was later deleted. 

Vaani who made her debut with 'Shuddh Desi Romance' was called to the Police station to record her statement. If reports are to be believed then, the complaint has been filed by an ardent devotee of 'Lord Shri Ram.' The complaint letter demands that Vaani be brought to book or punished in accordance with the law.Vaani had signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films and her last release was 'War' featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff which was a money spinner at the box-office.
