Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli have once again asked citizens of India to cooperate with the government to fight against COVID-19. They urged everyone to stay indoors and maintain social distancing as a precautionary measure. Virat too shared the video and wrote, ''These are testing times and we need to wake up to the seriousness of this situation. Please let us all follow what's been told to us and stand united please. It's a plea to everyone''. This is the second time the couple have come together to raising awareness about coronavirus that has claimed 11 lives in India.

The duo also applauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative of the 21 day lockdown on their social media. Taking to a her micro-blogging site, Anushka wrote, "It is extremely important for ALL of us to follow the 21 day lockdown laid down by our PM Shri @narendramodi ji. Please stay at home to help contain the spread of the virus and follow the safety protocols 🙏🏻".  For the unversed,  Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced total lockdown in the country for the next 21 days to fight the deadly COVID-19.
