Given the current situation prevailing all around the world owing to the Coronavirus scare, celebrities have been joining hands with government authorities and other organizations to create awareness on the effects of the deadly virus. Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has also been doing the same of late and is making the most of her social media handles to reach out to her fans.The Chhapaak actress had announced that she will be teaming up with Dr Tedros, director-general of World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss the importance of mental health amidst the Coronavirus crises. The actress revealed that she will be going live with Dr Tedros on April 23rd at 7 pm IST.

However soon, the actress received a backlash from her fans the same. Fans were unhappy with Deepika's collaboration with Dr Tedros. Some even went on to say that they have lost respect for the actress and won't watch her films anymore. On the work front, Deepika had kick-started the shoot for a movie helmed by Shakun Batra just a few days before the lockdown was announced. It also features Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. Let us have a look at some of the reactions by her fans on social media.
