Actor Dhanush, who recently performed bhoomi pujan for his new house at Poes Garden in Chennai, is reportedly spending a whopping ₹150 crore on its construction. According to a report, published in Tamil entertainment channel Valai Pechu, Dhanush’s house is being built on eight grounds (approximately 19000 sq ft) and it’ll be a four-storey building. On the work front, the Kolavari singer is on a film signing spree. 

Last week, the actor signed a trilingual film with director Sekhar Kammula. Dhanush was last seen in director Karthik Subbaraj's Jagame Thandhiram, which released on Netflix on June 18. The gangster film starring Dhanush, James Cosmo, Joju George and Aishwarya Lekshmi, has been received mixed reviews from critics and audience alike. On the other hand, he is waiting for the release of his Bollywood film, Atrangi Re which stars Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan. He also has an untitled film with director Karthick Naren, Naane Varuven and Aayirathil Oruvan 2 with director Selvaraghavan and The Gray Man at different stages of production.
