On Tuesday, Rihanna reacted to a news piece about the ongoing farmers' protest on Twitter. Sharing the article, she wrote, "Why aren't we talking about this? #FarmersProtest (sic). "Rihanna's tweet received massive support and it was widely shared. Internet users said that the issue will be highlighted on the global platform with Rihanna tweeting about it to her 100 million followers.

Now many celebs  including Swara Bhasker, Richa Chadha, Shruti Seth, Farah Khan Ali, Pragyan Ojha, and Kangana Ranaut took to Twitter to react on the pop singer's post. Swara who often speaks up on various issues, has been following the Farmers' protest too. She used folded hand emojis to thank the pop star for sharing her stance on the movement. However, the likes of Pragyan Ojha and Kangana Ranaut slammed Rihanna for interfering in India's internal matters.

"My country is proud of our farmers and knows how important they are, I trust it will be addressed soon. We don’t need an outsider poking her nose in our internal matters!," Pragyan Ojha said in a reply to her  tweet. On the other hand, Kangana  called Rihanna a 'fool' and 'dummy' for her views on farmers protest. She wrote, "No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China can take over our vulnerable broken nation and make it a Chinese colony much like USA... Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies." Kangana Ranaut has been extremely vocal about her opinions on the farmers' protest. Calling them terrorists, the actress often indulges in an online battle with several celebrities.
