Los Angeles, March 10 Singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding has embraced motherhood for the second time. The singer has welcomed a daughter with her actor boyfriend Beau Minniear.
The 38-year-old singer, who also has son Arthur, four, from her marriage to Caspar Jopling, revealed she became a mother for a second time, when she gave birth to a little girl at a hospital in London, reports ‘Female First UK’.
In a post on Instagram, Ellie wrote, "On Friday I gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are totally obsessed with her. It was fitting that I spent International Women’s Day with her and the incredible female team at St Mary’s, who provided me and my baby with extraordinary care and kindness. I will always be in awe of midwives. This addition to my family fills me with so much joy, especially as Arthur is so happy to become a big brother to this little angel”.
An insider added to The Sun newspaper,"Ellie and Beau are absolutely besotted with their little girl. Both mum and baby are happy and healthy. This is the start of a really exciting chapter for them and Ellie and Beau are both in a wonderful baby bubble”.
Ellie became a mother to Arthur during her marriage to Caspar, which lasted from 2019 until 2024, and she went on to strike up a new romance with Beau.
As per ‘Female First UK’, she went public with her pregnancy in December when she showed off her bump at the 2025 Fashion Awards in London.
She later opened up about her baby news in an interview with Nylon magazine. The ‘Love Me Like You Do’ singer told the publication, "I didn't want to become just a pregnant woman first. Not every woman has this luxury. I have amazing people around me. I have an amazing boyfriend. I do have it a little easier in that I do have amazing support”.
“I'm still working every day and still writing every day. It's just that I am growing a human inside me. I'm perhaps not the most, like, Mother Earth about it, if you know what I mean? It's a beautiful thing to be able to grow a child, and I feel very lucky that I'm healthy, but it's not all I am right now”, she added.
